Warranty/Claims handling

You have a 5-year guarantee on our products regarding the quality of the materials and the surface finish as well as the professional treatment of all models from the date of purchase. Warranty claims can only be made on presentation of the relevant invoice. The warranty claims only apply to defective items and not to the entire delivery. Statutory warranty claims such as repair, cancellation of order or damages are not affected by this warranty. In the event of repair and delivery of parts or replacement items, the current warranty period shall not be interrupted and no new warranty period shall commence.


We grant a 2-year warranty on the following products:

  • Lamps, lights and electric motors.
  • Cushions, upholstered headboards, wall panels, boxsprings, mattresses and mattress covers.


We reserve the right to perform warranty services as follows:

  • replacement delivery/exchange delivery (in the case of an exchange delivery, the goods must be made available for collection in their original box)
  • return of the goods and credit on the purchase price without replacement delivery;
  • repair.


The guarantee applies under the condition of proper use and normal stress.


The following are excluded from the guarantee


  • damage caused by improper transport, delivery or assembly/disassembly.
  • Damage caused by sharp-edged or pointed objects such as knives used to open the package.
  • Improper handling in connection with moisture, liquids and unsuitable cleaning agents.
  • Environmental effects such as extreme dryness/humidity, light, temperatures, etc.
  • Changes in solid wood (shrinkage, staining, cracks, etc.) due to environmental effects.
  • Overloading of beds or sleepers beyond the permissible weight limits.
  • deliberate destruction, improper use or misuse, misuse of the product, overloading or damage due to an accident.
  • Damage due to contamination by animals, heat sources, climatic influences or other chemically induced changes.
  • Improper attempts to clean, repair or refurbish.
  • In the case of upholstered items, the formation of a fold in the covering material cannot always be avoided and is not a reason for complaint. Differences in evenness, colour and structure, as well as wrinkling, are properties of real leather that highlight the charm and characteristics of this material.
  • General wear and tear as well as wearing parts such as light bulbs, batteries, accumulators, etc. are not included in the price.
  • Furniture and mattresses initially have a specific clean smell. This smell is harmless and evaporates quickly with use.


We reserve the right to make changes to models and prices at any time; the colours reproduced may differ slightly from the original colours and structures. Slight deviations between the wood samples and the original elements cannot be avoided. Deformation of 1 to 2 mm is unavoidable with natural products and cannot give rise to any claims. Do not use products that have obviously been delivered in error (e.g. incorrect model, size, colour). Remember that furniture components delivered in error remain the property of the manufacturer. Return the parts in question to the original carton and report the delivery error to us immediately.


Procedure in case of complaints :


In order to provide the fastest possible assistance in the event of a claim, the following points must be observed

  • Submission of detailed documentation and defect descriptions with an indication of the supposed cause.
  • Presentation of at least 3 photographs of the damaged item (at least one close-up of the defect, one photograph of the entire piece of furniture with indication of the defect) taken from different angles.
  • The direct telephone line of a person to contact in case of a request for clarification must be provided.


In the case of transport damage, we distinguish between visible and hidden defects


  • Visible defects must be reported immediately upon delivery. The damage must be noted in the presence of the delivery person and noted on the delivery note. In addition, we ask you to inform us of this as well.
  • Hidden defects must be reported within 7 days. We therefore ask you to open your packages without delay and to check the quantities, the products and the damage.
